Microsoft products are all just *just* functional enough that changing to another system doesn't seem worth it, but also *just* broken enough to provide a flourishing ecosystem for technical support contracts that I bet Microsoft gets money for too

I almost wish they would just charge us rent without going through the rigamarole of also making us not get work done by giving us probably intentionally broken software so that they can extract ongoing money by "supporting" it
